This role works closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams to ensure a reliable, efficient, and compliant supply chain. The Aviation Purchasing Associate is responsible for supplier coordination, contract negotiations, inventory management, and ensuring all purchasing activities meet applicable industry regulations and company standards. Primary Responsibilities
Procurement & Sourcing:
· Identify and evaluate suppliers of aviation parts, equipment, and services.
· Negotiate purchase orders, prices, and terms with vendors and suppliers.
· Ensure that all purchases meet quality and safety standards required for aviation operations.
· Source and purchase various goods related to aircraft maintenance, operations, and other aviation services.
Inventory Management:
· Maintain accurate inventory records for aviation parts and supplies.
· Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant departments to replenish items in a timely manner.
· Implement inventory controls to minimize excess stock or shortages.
Vendor Relations:
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and manufacturers.
· Evaluate supplier performance, quality of products, and delivery reliability.
· Address issues with suppliers regarding delays, quality concerns, or pricing disputes.
Cost Management:
· Track and manage purchasing costs to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.

Compliance & Documentation:
· Ensure that all purchased items comply with applicable aviation regulations, industry standards, and company policies.

Minimum Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED, Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration is a plus but not required.

This role ensures all inspections and quotations are performed in accordance with approved technical data, manufacturer Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA), Service Bulletins, Service Letters, Airworthiness Directives (ADs), applicable government regulations, industry standards, and other data acceptable to the Administrator. This opportunity is ideal for a driven professional looking to expand their technical expertise and project management skills while building a long-term career in the aerospace industry.
Primary Responsibilities
· Responsible for the review of the PO, entering squawks, allocating labor and materials to quote, dispositioning squawks, and requesting engineering.
· Ensures all information he has written is accurate and in accordance with current technical data, manufacturer’s instructions for continued airworthiness, service bulletins, service letters, airworthiness directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to the administrator.
· Ensures that contracted services performed on articles are according to the customer’s instructions and/or current overhaul manuals, drawings, service bulletins, technical orders, airworthiness directives, work orders, etc. as required.
· Notifies Quality Control of any items suspected as Unapproved Parts.
· Ensures the preservation of all articles or parts, while carried in inventory, including parts that are subject to deterioration and self-life specifications.
· Provides technical assistance to Quality/Production.
· Provides input to Eval/Engineering Supervisor pertaining to work schedule and resource needs.
· Prevents FOD and keeps area neat, clean, and organized.
· Communicate with customer service as required.

Overview: AeroParts Machining (APM), a division of Coltala Aerospace, is seeking a motivated Inspector to perform product and material inspections in accordance with current technical data, manufacturers’ Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA), Service Bulletins, Service Letters, Airworthiness Directives, applicable government regulations, industry standards, and other data acceptable to the Administrator. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented Inspector who is looking to expand their technical expertise and gain valuable experience within the aerospace industry.
Primary Responsibilities
· Perform and document incoming inspection of parts, materials, supplies, and subcontracted work to determine compliance to manufacturing drawings.
· Ensure that contracted services performed on articles are according to the APM provided instructions and/or current manufacturing drawings, as required.
· Responsible to the Quality Manager/Chief Inspector for work assignments, technical advice, and general problem solving. In the event the Inspector is not available to perform these duties, the Operations and Quality Manager will assume the duties of Inspector or delegate an inspector listed on the inspection roster.
· Verify that only parts and materials meeting the applicable requirements are received and processed for the subsequent evolution.
· Inspect and maintain calibration of machines, tools, and test equipment to ensure that periodic inspections are properly conducted, and inspection due dates are not exceeded for test equipment.
· Ensure all test equipment is labeled with the equipment reference number, calibration date, and calibration due date, equipment serial number, and inspector’s initials for each piece of precision equipment in use.
· Inspect items received for stock or for manufactured goods, for condition, proper identification, certification, and evidence of prior usage, improper packaging, or traceability to the original manufacturer/service provider, as required.
· Ensure if an out of tolerance condition exists with the test equipment it is quarantined, and information forwarded to the Operations and Quality Manager This information shall include the serial number of the equipment, the date of last calibration, and the out of tolerance readings.
· Inspector will notify the Operations and Quality Manager of any items suspected as Unapproved Parts.
· Perform incoming inspections, to identify, control, segregate, and maintain all materials (including raw materials and parts) according to the drawing/applicable specification requirements or standard industry practices.
· Ensure the preservation of all articles or parts, while carried in inventory, including parts that are subject to deterioration and shelf-life specifications.
· The Inspector shall assist with the assembly and build-up of kits, shipping documents, and parts being prepared for shipment.
· Ensure that parts that have been designated as scrap are appropriately quarantined and/or destroyed.
· Inspectors shall have technical ability for building Bill-of-Materials, and production planning steps to support operations.
· Perform other duties, as assigned by the Operations and Quality Manager.
